Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using BudgetManager (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
BudgetManager helps you record accounts and transactions, set savings goals, and plan your personal finances. It can run entirely on your own device (offline) or, optionally, sync your data to our servers when you sign in (online).
3. Accounts and sign-in
Online features require signing in with a third-party provider (such as Google). You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.
4. Your data
You own the financial data you enter. In offline mode it stays on your device. In online mode it is stored on our servers and kept private to your account; we do not sell your data. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no illegal activity, no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the systems or other users’ data, and no reverse engineering except as permitted by law.
6. Not financial advice
BudgetManager provides tools and calculations for informational purposes only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Figures such as “safe to spend” and projections are estimates. Decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.
7. Availability and “as is”
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BudgetManager and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Paid plans
The Service may offer free and paid plans. If paid subscriptions are introduced, their price, billing, and cancellation terms will be presented before you purchase, and these Terms will apply together with any plan-specific terms.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Mexico.
